Discussions organised once a month (except summer holidays) and take approximately two hours.
The Chatham House formula applies during the discussion. This means that the summary of Discussions, received by our members after each meeting, contains the main statements and conclusions of the conversation, but without indicating the quotes from specific speakers.
The first meeting of the Energy Club was held in September 2020. Since then, we have met 10 times a year i.e. every month except summer holidays.
We discuss in a group of the energy sector’s key decision-makers, including:
- representatives of key ministries;
- representatives of energy companies;
- experts from leading think tanks;
- scientists.
During our meetings we address topics relevant to accelerating Poland’s energy transition. We pay special attention to:
- development of the renewable energy market, including onshore and offshore wind;
- grid challenges related to the growing role of renewables;
- financing mechanisms for green investment projects, including PPAs;
- low-carbon transportation, including the development of electromobility.
